Bill B. Baker was raised in Marion, Guadalupe County, Texas by parents in the education field. He grew up in a rural setting with family and extended family who farmed and ranched. Upon graduation from Marion High School and Southwest Texas State University, Bill spent the next 35 years working for Farm Credit in various capacities, specializing in all aspects related to farm and ranch real estate. The majority of that time he served as President of the Edna Credit Office of Capital Farm Credit. While Bill was based on the Texas Gulf Coast, he was also fortunate to have the opportunity in his tenure to work throughout all of Texas and New Mexico.
Sandy Johs is a licensed Sales Agent ready to assist clients in achieving their goal of locating the best fit for their rural real estate needs…….whether that be buying, selling or managing. Her 35 years of hands-on experience and knowledge gained through the operation of her family owned heavy equipment construction business, with a concentration in land management and utilization, make her uniquely qualified to identify potential benefits or challenges with each individual property. This attribute enables her to better match a buyer with the most suitable property or seller with the best prospective buyer.
After graduating in 2007 from Texas A&M University-Kingsville with a Bachelor’s Degree in Agriculture Science and a minor in Plant and Soil Science, James returned home to become a full-time, fourth- generation rancher. He and his father, Thomas, formed Cordele Cattle Company. During his time ranching, he has had experience working with landowners, hunting tenants, as well as oil and gas interests. He farmed corn, beans, and milo for three years and enjoyed working with the land as well as being able to watch his crops grow.
As a sixth generation rancher from Lolita, Texas, Vance currently runs cattle on property acquired by his family in 1876 along with his mother, Janet, and brother, Steve.
Vance was previously the Real Estate Trust Manager for Wells Fargo from 1999 to 2014, responsible for farm, ranch and commercial properties. Besides day to day operations of properties, he also specialized in surface matters relating to oil, gas and mineral development and pipelines/easements.
